Meet Dr Sam Tebeck
Sam is an accredited sport and exercise scientist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). He is heavily nested in the field of sport science, having finished his Doctor of Philosophy during his time within Australian High Performance Sport. Sam's research focused on the physiological adaptations following heat training in cyclists, in particular, the cellular responses associated with mitochondrial biogenesis. During this time, he provided sport science services to Olympic and Commonwealth Games medalists across multiple sports including swimming, cycling and athletics. In addition to his extensive applied experience, Sam has competed as a triathlete at an international level for over 5 years. This knowledge and experience provides Sam an understanding to help others achieve a balance between performance, health and enjoyment.
